Job Title: Family Solicitor (2–5 PQE)

We are working with a highly regarded and growing law firm seeking to recruit a talented Family Solicitor to join their established team. Reporting directly to the Family Partner, this is an excellent opportunity to manage your own caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the department.
This position would suit a solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE who is confident running their own matters, commercially minded, and motivated to contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters including divorce, financial disputes, children matters, and family agreements
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering a high standard of client care
- Contributing to business development activities and supporting the growth of the Family team
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
- Ensuring deadlines are met while effectively managing competing priorities across matters
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE in family law and experience handling your own caseload
- Experience working on high-net-worth or complex matters within a reputable family law team
- A proactive and commercially aware approach, with an interest in business development
- Strong interest in non-court dispute resolution (NCDR); mediation or collaborative training is advantageous
- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, with experience using case management systems
- A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
