Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Sales Support Administrator to provide essential support to a busy sales function. This role will suit someone with previous B2B sales experience who enjoys building customer relationships, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring the smooth delivery of products and services. You will play a key role in coordinating customer orders, managing samples, producing reports, and acting as a central point of support for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Working Pattern
- Hybrid after probation – 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
- Ideally, working hours will be 9.30am – 2.30pm or 10.00am – 3.00pm
Responsibilities of the Sales Support Administrator:
- Monitor customer orders from receipt through to successful delivery, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate product sample requests, liaising with internal teams and couriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and support customer portal activity, becoming a key point of contact for portal-related queries.
- Produce regular sales and performance reports, providing valuable insights to support commercial decision-making.
Requirements of the Sales Support Administrator:
- Essential: Previous B2B sales experience, ideally gained within a sales support, internal sales, account management, or customer service environment.
- Strong understanding of order fulfilment processes, customer relationship management, and supporting commercial sales activities.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience analysing and presenting data.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build strong relationships with business customers.
