Job IntroductionAs a Team Manager, you’ll lead the total Facilities Management (FM) operation at Longmoor Camp, ensuring the site remains safe, efficient and fit for purpose. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll balance leadership, planning and on‑site delivery across accommodation, training areas and FM services. - Location: Longmoor Camp, Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6EL
- Contract: Permanent, Mon–Fri, 37 hrs p/w
- Travel: Within the site and wider Training Estate as required
About The Organisation: Landmarc supports the UK Armed Forces by keeping the Defence Training Estate running safely and effectively. We manage training areas and ranges, maintain essential infrastructure and deliver major improvement projects that enhance military training across the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support your team, acting as the main point of contact for day‑to‑day operations
- Manage facilities usage ensuring maintenance needs and cleaning standards are met
- Oversee FM services (accommodation, waste, stores, grounds and cleaning)
- Drive team performance through strong people management and a culture of continuous improvement
- Identify and deliver reactive maintenance tasks as required
- Manage operational budgets effectively and support financial planning
- Assist with facility handovers and returns, helping service users maximise the use of the site
Essential / What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of Health & Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely (NEBOSH desirable)
- Experience in people management with a proven track record in performance management
- Understanding of workload scheduling and work order processes, ideally in a multi‑tasking environment
- Ability to manage budgets and support financial planning
- Strong workforce planning skills and a passion for continuous improvement
- Proficient in CAFM systems
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Previous experience with stores accounting
- NVQ Level 4 in Management
