Job Description:

A rewarding leadership opportunity is available for a Senior Manager to oversee new business onboarding across multiple jurisdictions, driving process improvement, regulatory compliance and strategic development within a collaborative environment.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring an efficient, consistent and compliant experience across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Oversee KYC, AML and client suitability assessments, ensuring all regulatory and internal requirements are met.
  • Manage and develop a multi-jurisdictional onboarding team, promoting collaboration, performance and continuous professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, review and enhance onboarding policies, procedures, guidance and training materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance onboarding processes, systems and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the management and ongoing development of onboarding platforms and core business systems.
  • Monitor onboarding activity, analyse trends and produce management information and performance reports.
  • Review declined and lost business to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support regulatory inspections, audits and internal reviews relating to onboarding and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Risk and operational teams to implement effective risk controls and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to business transformation initiatives and support the delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Participate in committees and senior management discussions where required.
  • Maintain up-to‑date technical knowledge of industry developments, regulatory requirements and best practice.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading client onboarding, compliance or operational functions within private wealth, corporate or fiduciary services, together with a recognised professional qualification and a strong understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements. You’ll possess excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multiple jurisdictions and influence at senior level. Strong commercial awareness, sound judgement and experience driving operational improvements, governance and business transformation are essential, along with the ability to mentor and develop high‑performing teams. You’ll be analytical, strategic and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
