Geotechnical Site Engineer – Glasgow

Salary & Benefits

• £32,000 – £36,000 (DOE)
• 24 days annual leave, increasing by one day per completed year of service (up to 29 days)

Job Overview

Supervise and deliver a variety of ground investigation projects across the UK.

Organise and oversee site investigation works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.

Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams on site.

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.

Manage site logistics, equipment and daily operations.

Maintain effective communication between site teams and the office.

Build and maintain positive client relationships on site.

Support project delivery to ensure quality standards and programme requirements are achieved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience within a ground investigation contractor.
• Previous experience supervising or delivering site investigation works.
• Good understanding of site investigation techniques including boreholes, trial pits and in‑situ testing.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures on site.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
• Earth Science, Geology, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical‑related qualification desirable.
