Junior Maintenance Engineer (Multi‑skilled / Field)

Location: Birmingham (regional patch)

Salary: £35,000 + OTE £40,000‑£45,000 + Overnight Stays + Company Bonus + On‑call (telephone only) + Company Van + Enhanced Pension Contribution + TOIL + Company Benefits

This role is offered by a global leading machinery manufacturer that provides a range of manufacturing machinery across key sectors. They are looking to grow their team and offer specialist industry training, ongoing progression, and opportunities to increase earnings through on‑call and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PPM, breakdown and other servicing work on packaging machinery.
• Cover sites across a regional patch, with regular overnight stays (average 40 per year).
• Perform breakdown repairs and other maintenance tasks on automation and manufacturing machinery.
• Participate in specialist machinery and software training.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Qualification or equivalent experience.
• Multi‑skilled background in mechanical, PPM, manufacturing or automation.
• Willingness to undertake overnight stays as required.
