Role Overview
The Service Manager will provide operational, commercial, and customer leadership across our service activities to ensure high standards of execution, drive financial performance, and foster a culture of safety and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strong financial performance, including revenue, margin, and cash management through accurate forecasting.
- Lead service account performance to ensure safe, high‑quality and reliable delivery for every customer.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to foster seamless collaboration.
- Create growth strategies by collaborating with sales leaders to identify opportunities and expand market presence.
- Improve operational efficiency through process excellence, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and coach team to foster a high‑performing and inclusive environment.
Special Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.
Required Skills & Experience
- Execution‑driven and entrepreneurial leadership, managing complex service portfolios in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust‑based relationships at all levels.
- Understanding of financial analysis and applying it to operational success.
- Experience leading teams, coaching talent, and fostering a culture of integrity and safety.
- Keen interest in identifying market trends to seize new service growth opportunities.
- Formal education or university bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is nice to have.
- Professional achievements and total experience are prioritized.
Work Arrangement
Permanent position based in Rugby, UK. Hybrid working model allows flexibility to work from the office and from home.
