Job Description:

  • The Principal Product Manager owns the roadmap and delivery for nCino’s Client Lifecycle Management solution — spanning onboarding, KYB/KYC compliance workflows, and data integrations for global banking markets
  • You’ll shape how AI-powered Digital Partners orchestrate complex compliance workflows as part of nCino’s evolution into the Agentic Operating System for banking
  • While competitors retrofit AI onto legacy platforms, you’ll pioneer the future of how modern banks handle client onboarding and compliance
  • This is a senior individual contributor role where deep banking domain knowledge and strong product execution are equally important
  • You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams, and engage directly with enterprise financial institution customers to shape a product used across commercial banking internationally
  • Ideate – Own the roadmap. Identify next highest priority problems to solve. Influence the company towards a strategic direction based on your knowledge and expertise
  • Validate the roadmap with customers. Take output from junior product team members’ research to advance the planning
  • Plan – Represent Product vision and VOC for your feature/feature set in planning sessions with Design and Architecture/Eng. Be knowledgeable enough to challenge the approach and ensure the best approach is being pursued
  • Build – Be involved in key milestones. Major stakeholder in sprint reviews and weekly demos
  • Launch – Lead customer-facing Early Adopter conversations. Develop strategic launch plan with cross-functional team
  • Grow – Help junior product team members’ interpret success metrics, work with customer awareness
  • NCino Product Knowledge – As the owner of your feature/feature set you should be able to lead conversations with customers in all segments about the value of your feature(s) in how they solve business problems as well as the vision and roadmap for the overall experience this feature connects to and how that will further add value to our customers
  • This will include objection handling through your deep knowledge of how other customers use the feature or have adjusted their business process to gain value. You understand how and why our solution is best-in-class (or how is measures up to competitors)
  • Leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance product decision-making, identify customer behavior patterns, forecast trends, and uncover unmet needs
  • Apply AI-powered analytics to validate product assumptions, track adoption, and surface opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering to explore and integrate AI/ML features that add value to the customer experience while staying informed on emerging technologies and their potential application across the product lifecycle

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate knows commercial banking, is comfortable translating complex regulatory and operational requirements into clear product direction and has delivered products in regulated enterprise environments beforeExperience in presenting to multiple layers of a company, including executivesFamiliarity with EMEA regulatory landscape (UK MLR, AMLR 2027)Experience being involved in the sales cycle and conducting customer interviewsTravel Requirements – <10%Demonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirementsExperience with loan origination software/technology andProven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environmentOutstanding written and oral communication skillsBachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of related experience/proficiency or a combination of education and experienceAnd commercial onboarding, CLM, or KYB/KYC compliance technologyStrong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologiesAdvanced knowledge of Agile principlesAdvanced knowledge of the commercial, small business banking, treasury, consumer space in relation to both processes and regulations
