What you’ll be doing

We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager with a strong background in construction and facilities management to join our growing team. Based in Nottingham, this role will manage a variety of projects across the UK, ensuring delivery safely, on time and within budget. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll take ownership of complex, multi‑discipline projects, often delivered in live operational environments, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of construction and FM projects from planning through to completion and handover.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, budget and programme requirements.
  • Deliver projects safely and efficiently within live operational environments, minimising disruption to client activities.
  • Coordinate design, procurement and site activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, budgets, risk registers and progress reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, health & safety standards and company procedures.
  • Drive performance to achieve client satisfaction, quality outcomes and value for money.
  • Provide strong leadership and communication across all stakeholders and disciplines.

What you’ll need to have (our must‑haves)

  • Experience with project management within the construction or facilities management sector.
  • Experience delivering complex projects in live operational environments.
  • Excellent partner engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and project budgets.
  • Experience with CDM regulations and possession of SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) desirable.
  • PRINCE2 or other formal project management qualification advantageous.
  • RICS qualification
  • Asbestos awareness
  • Legionella awareness
  • LOLER awareness
  • Willingness to travel nationally, including overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving licence.
