Senior Manager – Energy – International Tax (Open to flexible working) with EY’s International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) Practice, focused on the energy sector.
Opportunity
Assist global corporations with international tax planning and cross‑border M&A advisory. Work with sector‑leading partners and a high‑performing team on high‑profile transactions across oil & gas, renewables and the wider energy supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships, proactively source and win new work.
- Manage delivery of technically complex consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical business focus.
- Oversee quality of client service and develop junior staff through coaching and mentoring.
- Leverage internal and external networks to generate opportunities and support the team.
- Represent the practice in business development and client engagements.
- Manage any leads from other areas of the practice.

Qualifications
- ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent Tax Inspector with full Technical Training Course, or equivalent Law qualification.
- Degree‑qualified.
- Experienced corporate tax practitioner.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply tax statutes.
- Client‑facing experience in UK tax or a similar jurisdiction.
- Experience within the Energy sector.
Ideal Additional Skills
Project management skills, including planning, prioritising work, meeting deadlines, and monitoring budgets.
