Biotech Patent Attorney

A leading European Intellectual Property firm is looking to strengthen its highly regarded Life Sciences practice with the appointment of a talented Part-Qualified Biotechnology Patent Attorney.

Working alongside some of the most respected practitioners in the profession, you’ll advise an impressive client base ranging from innovative start-ups and university spin-outs to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Drafting and prosecuting UK, European and international patent applications
• Advising clients on patentability, freedom-to-operate and infringement matters
• Building strong client relationships and managing a varied portfolio
• Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the practice

About You

• Part-qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney
• Degree and/or PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Immunology or a related Life Sciences discipline
• Strong drafting and prosecution experience
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ambitious, commercially minded and keen to develop your career within a collaborative environment
