As a Process Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, creating and refining manufacturing processes that power modern luxury. You’ll play a key role in bringing battery systems to life, working with pioneering technologies while growing your expertise in a fast‑evolving environment that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

What To Expect

In this role, you’ll contribute to critical projects that define how our battery systems are built and delivered. Working closely with engineering teams and suppliers, you’ll help create efficient, high‑quality processes that support our shared future.

  • Developing and implementing safe, high‑quality and cost‑effective assembly and in‑process solutions
  • Planning and managing installation activities with suppliers to ensure seamless integration of equipment and processes
  • Conducting detailed process planning, including PFMEA development, to deliver robust and reliable manufacturing systems
  • Verifying assembly processes and equipment both at supplier sites and within JLR facilities
  • Supporting new model introduction, resolving technical challenges and ensuring equipment capability meets performance targets

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in manufacturing or engineering processes, tools and techniques
  • Understanding of battery system design and how it translates into manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of developing repair techniques for battery systems
  • Experience working in a factory or production environment with engineered products
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and influence stakeholders
