Job reference number 338169. Regional Energy Manager. Salary £42,000 – £54,000 per annum, depending on experience, 10% London location allowance (if London based). Use of a work vehicle, 6% bonus potential, 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Permanent. To cover the South East and London.
The Energy Team is a central team operating from within the Engineering division of Royal Mail Group with the responsibility of delivering energy management support across the whole property portfolio of approximately 1,500 buildings. With a workforce of over 100,000 employees and a fleet of over 30,000 vehicles, Royal Mail’s ambition is to achieve net zero carbon by 2040 with a 25% water reduction target by 2030.
We are looking for a Regional Energy Manager, to support the delivery of property energy and water management plans, in line with our net zero carbon, environment and sustainability policies within our London and South East sites.
The role
Working within a wider multi-disciplinary energy management team, the Regional Energy Manager will deliver energy, water, cost, and carbon savings as part of a structured energy management system (EnMS) across our UK estate. As Regional Energy Manager, you’ll have responsibility for a large geographical region (10-15 large sites, plus 300-400 smaller buildings), conduct energy surveys to support best practice energy management and work with key stakeholders to help deliver energy savings.
