As an Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you will:

• Take high-level management and delivery responsibility for technically complex, demanding VAT consulting projects, ensuring a practical and business-driven approach.
• Lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the regional team, including managing assignments and junior staff development.
• Proactively drive business development by managing existing clients, identifying new market opportunities, and converting leads from other areas of the practice.
• Act as the primary advisor to build and maintain deep client relationships, helping them mitigate indirect tax risks, improve day-to-day reporting, and optimise working capital.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Demonstrate significant experience in VAT, gained either within a professional services environment or a major in-house tax team.
• Possess a proven track record of creating, supporting, and leading effective delivery teams, with strong capabilities in coaching and mentoring staff.
• Exhibit strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to sustain opinions and handle complex commercial challenges confidently.
• Display robust project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan work, monitor budgets, and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
