Mechanical Site Manager – Building Services
North West
Up to circa £55,000 + Company Van + Door-to-Door Pay + Pension + Progression
Are you an experienced Mechanical Site Manager looking to join a growing Building Services contractor delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects across the North West?
Our client is an established engineering business with over 20 years of experience delivering mechanical and electrical solutions across the commercial, industrial, education, housing and public sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to lead projects from mobilisation through to completion.
Role
You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of commercial mechanical projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard. While the role has a strong mechanical and HVAC focus, any electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing commercial HVAC and mechanical installation projects from start to finish
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring programme, quality, labour and project performance
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance, RAMS and site documentation
- Carrying out site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
- Coordinating materials, deliveries and site logistics
- Liaising with clients, project managers and internal teams
- Identifying and resolving site issues to keep projects on programme
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience managing commercial mechanical or M&E installation projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services
- SMSTS and valid CSCS card
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and CDM Regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Electrical building services knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential

- Salary up to circa £55,000
