We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

You will work within an opiate-focused team, with opportunities to support across other areas depending on service need. The service provides person-centred support to individuals experiencing drug and alcohol issues, helping them achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

Where: Brighton – Richmond House

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – until 31st March 2027

Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, the salary and payments will be pro‑rata based on contracted hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a structured caseload of clients, maintaining consistent engagement while delivering high‑quality, outcome‑focused support. Provide tailored interventions based on individual needs, balancing empathy with a clear focus on progress and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and detailed case records, using digital systems effectively to support safe and consistent care. Possess a strong understanding of safeguarding and the ability to identify, assess and respond to risk.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and partner organisations, contributing to a coordinated and professional approach. Be confident in having open, constructive conversations, including appropriately challenging behaviours when needed to support positive change.
  • Support flexible service provision, including late opening during the week and Saturday morning provision, via a rota system as required.
  • Provide home or hospital visits when service users cannot attend the office due to health or mobility issues, ensuring continuity of care and engagement.

About You

  • Clear communicator with strong active listening skills, able to build respectful and professional relationships with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, prioritising effectively and responding to changing demands without losing focus on responsibilities.
  • Bring a balanced, boundaried approach to support work, showing compassion while maintaining professional boundaries and personal accountability. Confidently manage a caseload, taking ownership of work and completing administrative tasks to a high standard.
  • Attentive to detail and recognise the importance of accurate record‑keeping to deliver safe and effective services. Strong IT skills and willingness to engage with systems and processes that support quality and compliance.
  • Contribute to a team environment where colleagues support and challenge each other constructively, with a shared focus on delivering the best outcomes for clients.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with individuals to support their recovery and wellbeing, while being part of a supportive, accountable and collaborative team focused on making a meaningful difference.

Salary Range (pro‑rata if part time): CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 – £32,802.41)
