Market Lead, Americas

Join us as a Market Lead in Coutts Wealth’s International team for the Americas market. We’re looking for someone to act as a figurehead in the market and provide outstanding leadership across a client-facing team.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the team’s growth, profile and performance, setting stretching objectives and implementing a client‑focused operating rhythm.
• Drive high performance across the team by providing coaching and development to direct reports, ensuring an outstanding experience for our clients.
• Develop and implement a market strategy, including the delivery of an effective operating rhythm that covers all areas of the balanced business scorecard.
• Deliver agreed activity and targets across the team, creating an exceptional client experience through feedback, research and insights.
• Develop and acquire new relationships to help the team reach its targets, and act as an ambassador both internally and externally for the market.
• Own, manage and supervise the risks in your business area, ensuring mechanisms are in place to identify, report, manage and mitigate risk within a defined risk appetite.

Skills You’ll Need

• High level knowledge and understanding of the market, its clients, products and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to lead and motivate high‑performing teams.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of performance within an FCA regulated investment or banking advice organisation and experience working within a Training and Competency framework.
• Demonstrable leadership and influencing skills.
• Experience supporting, coaching and developing peers and colleagues.
