Role Overview

This is a full‑time role based in Lancashire, with the potential to transition into a hybrid position. The Electrical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works across projects, managing a team of Electrical Engineers, and ensuring installations are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders, technical planning, and hands‑on leadership to drive successful project outcomes. Projects are primarily across the North West, with occasional travel and overnight stays required. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Electrical Engineers across multiple sites (including subcontractors)
  • Oversee all aspects of electrical installations and commissioning
  • Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan intelligent system layouts
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support the development of case studies
  • Support training and development of team members, including NVQ progression

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in electrical installation and team leadership
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Holds a valid CSCS card and consistently upholds health and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication, decision‑making, and organisational skills
  • NVQ qualifications in Electrical Installation are desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
