Junior Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician role

Sheffield | £27,000–£30,000 | Hybrid Working

Having successfully placed a Senior Architect with this client they’re now actively looking to recruit their next talented colleague.

Established and reputable central Sheffield based practice is looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist/Technician ASAP. Due to a steady increase in project workload they’re actively seeking a talented Architectural Technologist/Technician with around 2–4 years’ experience to join their 20 or so strong team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants exposure to projects at different stages of the design and delivery process.

What you’ll be doing

✅ Working across multiple projects simultaneously – predominantly within the retail, commercial and residential sectors

✅ Supporting projects from concept through to delivery

✅ Producing technical drawings and design information

✅ Collaborating with colleagues, clients and consultants

✅ Bringing ideas to life using industry-leading software

What we’re looking for

2–4 years’ experience in an architectural technologist or technician role

Experience working on projects at different stages of development

Strong AutoCAD skills (essential)

REVIT experience (desirable)

SketchUp and/or Enscape 3D visualisation skills

Experience using NBS and Microsoft Office

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required

Working arrangements

Based in central Sheffield

Minimum 4 days per week in the office (due to the level)

Full-time office-based induction and training for the first 3–4 weeks to help you hit the ground running

What you’ll receive in return

Salary: £27,000–£32,000 depending on experience
