Role

Multi‑skilled Maintenance EngineerMon to Fri ‘Double Days’

6am – 2pm – 1st week2pm – 10pm – 2nd week

Will suit engineers who live in Grantham, Newark or east of Nottingham area.

Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer

• Ensure that high quality production output is achieved through effective maintenance.
• Use preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
• Monitor processes and equipment, report variances and take corrective and remedial action.
• Communicate malfunctions to relevant people or departments.
• Respond to unplanned maintenance breakdown events.
• Complete engineering project work as required for installation and modifications to equipment and processes.

Experience and Skills Required

• Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC/HNC level.
• Multi‑skilled, mechanical and electrical skills/experience (ideally electrically biased).
• Apprenticeship trained.
• Confident to work on own when required.
• Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production.
• Food manufacturing experience would be very advantageous.
