Salary: £51,000 – £55,000

Overview
We are a fast‑paced, expanding producer looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment, including fault‑finding, responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reliably. You will also support continuous improvement projects, machinery upgrades, and equipment installations, working closely with production teams to maximise performance and minimise downtime. Responsibilities
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment
- Fault‑finding and rapid response to breakdowns
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Support continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades
- Assist with equipment installations
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
- Manufacturing or production background
- Strong fault‑finding skills
- PPM and reactive maintenance experience
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with belts, bearings, pulleys, shafts, gearboxes, chains, pumps and hydraulics
- Multi‑skilled engineering experience
- PLC fault‑finding knowledge
- Continuous improvement experience
