Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary in the range of £35,000 – £38,000
• Study support available to help complete ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Condensed working week: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:15pm
• Only one in four Fridays required to work

About the ideal candidate

• Nearly qualified or in the final stages of ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Experience preparing management accounts or supporting month-end processes
• Strong understanding of journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Confident using Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
• Motivated to continue developing professionally within a commercial finance environment

What the role involves

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Producing financial analysis to support business decision-making
• Supporting audit preparation and maintaining robust financial controls
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting
• Working closely with senior finance colleagues on a range of commercial finance activities
