Job Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic leader for the Head of Faculty for Engineering at Nottingham College, Highfields campus, Nottingham. This role involves leading curriculum development, ensuring high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across vocational and technical engineering programmes.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities include supporting the Assistant Principal and Head of Student Experience in providing outstanding leadership in all aspects of the development, management and delivery of a fast‑paced, customer‑facing curriculum area. You will inspire a large curriculum team to deliver Level 1 to BEng programmes, including T‑levels, HTQ and City and Guilds, drive quality improvement and support student progression and readiness for employment.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can drive improvements in teaching and learning, lead curriculum innovations, and who has strong people‑management and line‑management skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and the ability to liaise across faculty areas, support services, admissions, English and Maths and pastoral services are essential.
