.Key Responsibiliti

  • esManaging a varied caseload of patent litigation matters under partner supervisio
  • n.Assisting on complex, high value UK and cross border patent dispute
  • s.Advising clients on contentious intellectual property matters, with a focus on technology and telecommunication
  • s.Drafting pleadings, witness statements, expert evidence and court document
  • s.Supporting advocacy preparation, hearings and trial strateg
  • y.Conducting legal and technical research on complex patent issue
  • s.Working closely with clients, experts, counsel and overseas adviser
  • s.Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationship

s.Requireme

  • ntsQualified Solicitor with between 2 and 4 years’ post qualification experien
  • ce.Experience handling patent litigation matters gained at a recognised private practi
  • ce.Strong academic background with excellent analytical and drafting skil
  • ls.Experience advising clients within the technology, telecommunications or other innovative sectors would be advantageo
  • us.A STEM degree, particularly in Physics or Engineering, would be highly advantageous, although this is not essenti
  • al.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationshi
