As a Shift Manager, you will support General and Assistant Managers to ensure every shift meets Five Guys standards and delivers an outstanding customer experience.

As a Shift Manager, you’ll be responsible for

• Leading from the front and being hands‑on, working on the line and in the dining area
• Supporting the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries while providing an above‑and‑beyond experience for your team and customers
• Creating an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our values (Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get it Done and Integrity)
• Ensuring every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience, dealing with complaints promptly and honestly
• Ensuring that each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values are part of your shift management

What you bring to the table

• Experience: At least 1 year of management experience in a similar role within a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment
• Customer Satisfaction: A track record of driving satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
• Financial Responsibility: Understanding of running a profitable shift, managing crew breaks, minimizing food waste, and deploying the team during rushes
• Leadership Skills: A natural motivator who enjoys being hands‑on and leads by example
• Operational Excellence: Working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards and enforcing them on the line
• Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
