Purchasing Sales Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Purchasing Sales Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced team. This role offers the opportunity to combine purchasing, customer coordination, and operational planning responsibilities, acting as a key link between suppliers, customers, sales, and internal teams.
You will support the smooth running of the supply chain by coordinating purchasing activity, managing customer requirements, and ensuring products and materials are available to meet demand. Working across Sales, Procurement, Production, and Operations, you will play an important role in maintaining service levels and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the purchasing process, including raising purchase orders, monitoring supplier deliveries, and managing availability
- Work closely with the Sales team to support customer orders, updates, and requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure products and materials are delivered on time and any issues are resolved quickly
- Maintain accurate order, stock, and supplier information within internal systems
- Support production and delivery schedules by ensuring purchasing activity aligns with demand
- Monitor customer requirements and provide timely updates on order progress
- Manage communication between suppliers, customers, and internal departments
- Identify potential supply issues and work proactively to minimise disruption
- Support reporting, administration, and continuous improvement activities across the department
About You:
- Previous experience in purchasing, sales coordination, supply chain, planning, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Commercially aware with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
