About the role
The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Rotherham. This is a full-time position, starting on 20th September 2024, with a competitive rate of £40 – £50 per day. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform invasive cardiac procedures, including angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.
- Monitor and assess patients’ cardiac function during procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential:
- IBHRE / BHRS accreditation (desirable).
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Cardiac Physiologist.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in invasive cardiac physiology.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and invasive procedures.
- Desirable:
- Experience in invasive cardiac procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
