About us
Ellesmere College-Te Kāreti o Waihora is an innovative and forward‑thinking coeducational Year 7–13 school located in Leeston, approximately 30 minutes south of Christchurch. About you
We are seeking an energetic and innovative teacher of junior ako who is passionate about working with young people and can develop strong, mana‑enhancing relationships with ākonga, whānau and kaiako. You will need to be a team player as teachers co‑teach in the junior school, be unafraid of taking risks, flexible, have a growth mindset and be committed to providing rich authentic learning contexts integrated across curriculum areas.
- Applicants must be registered with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (or have this process in progress).

- Overseas applicants must have completed NZQA Qualifications Assessment & be eligible for a working visa.
