HGV II Dustcart Driver

Our client, based in Colchester, are looking for a Class 2 Refuse drivers for an ongoing contract in the Colchester area. The role will involve driving and operating a class 2 refuse vehicle, along with some loading duties as required, throughout the local Colchester area.

This is a Tuesday to Friday role 06:30 to 16:30 with occasional Saturdays due to Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Driver CPC
• HGV II Licence
• No DD/DR
• No more than 6 PTS

Responsibilities

• Collecting household, recycled and green waste from primarily residential address.
• Collecting refuse/recycling from requested locations and dispose of at the appropriate waste collection sites (mainly via dustcart but may include other vehicles).
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Drive / Load as directed.

This is an excellent opportunity with long term positions available for the right candidate. Permanent opportunities will be available after a qualifying period.

Pay rate is £12.50 p/h
