St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a number of Minibus drivers. This role will be based between St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester and St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School, Stratford upon Avon. This is a casual, fixed term position from September 2026 for one academic year, working between 10 to 20 hours per week on a term time only basis (38 weeks per year).
Responsibilities
- Transport Year 7 students between St Benedict’s in Alcester and their current primary school morning and afternoon.
- Drive the school minibus in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of passengers, other road users, members of the public, and yourself at all times.
- When required, collect students from given pick‑up points along a specific route and deliver them to school, collect them from school, and drop them back at given points.

Requirements and Legal Conditions
- The role is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. Further information can be found in the DBS filtering guide.
- The role is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016); therefore, the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
- All employees and volunteers are expected to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and, where relevant, a childcare disqualification check. Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment checks including two suitable references, evidence of right to work, medical clearance and where applicable a prohibition check and evidence of qualifications.
- All successful candidates will be required to present their birth certificate along with evidence of any name changes.
