Support Worker Day Service (full time or part time)

We are looking to recruit Support Workers to be based at our Forest Hall site (occasionally at Killingworth and North Shields). The role will involve working full days; part‑time days will be agreed based on service requirements.

Schedule:

  • Monday 8.45–4.15pm
  • Tuesdays 8.45–4.00pm
  • Wednesdays 8.45–4.00pm (6.00pm once every 4 weeks)
  • Thursdays 8.45–4.00pm
  • Fridays 8.45–4.00pm

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting disabled adults with autism, communication and sensory impairments, complex learning needs and other physical or learning disabilities.
  • Facilitating participation in day activities and enterprise sessions.
  • Working as part of a team to provide flexible, person‑centred care.
  • Adapting to evolving situations to maintain high standards of care and support.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience working with individuals with ASC or PMLD is desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship provided.
