Children Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker

Salary: GBP14.24 – GBP17 per hour

We are currently recruiting Children Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker in the Clacton-on-Sea, Essex area for a number of residential homes, supported living services to fulfil ongoing assignments for nights and weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children and young people with their daily routines and activities.
• Providing care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, including those who may display challenging behaviour or be at risk of going missing from care.
• Promoting independence, life skills, and positive behaviour in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
• Supporting children with education, hobbies, recreational activities, and community engagement.
• Showing compassion, patience, and understanding while helping children feel safe, valued, and supported.

Requirements

• 6 months experience in the last 2 years with Children.
• Looking for minimum 3 – 4 nights a week (22:30 – 07:30).
• Must be a driver with a car.
• Eligibility to work in the UK – No sponsorships provided.
