Responsibilities
- Provide support to the class teacher in groups or to individual children.
- Support reading and phonics for students at early stages of reading.
- Support the programme of extra‑curricular activities.
- Maintain a flexible, adaptable, positive attitude in a structured environment.
- Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Respond to unexpressed needs with empathy, listening and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Permanent position; 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum.
- Good understanding of KS1, KS2 or KS3 curriculum.
- At least one year experience in a learning/childcare setting.
- Willingness to undertake further training offered.
