Air‑Conditioning Engineer
Location: Surrey and Sussex region.

Key Responsibilities
- Design & installation, after‑care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, covering a range of equipment including cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF indoor and outdoor units, heat recovery units, leak‑testing systems, etc.
- Maintenance, repairs and all general Air Conditioning duties, including assistance with mechanical & plumbing works if required on site.
- Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps would be desirable; additional training can be provided.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Desirable to assist with electrical PPM tasks including emergency lighting tests and small repairs.
Skills And Experience Required
- Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and electrical plant, including Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas‑side pipe work and accessories).
- Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.
- Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and HVAC installations, including issuing written compliance paperwork.
- To maintain on‑site log books, permits & site paperwork, ensuring they are completed and up to date.
- Competent in working on CAFM systems and using a tablet for logging onto jobs and completing compliance paperwork.
- Must be flexible, teamwork‑oriented and client‑focused, as part of a mobile team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum), Level 3 in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferred), F‑Gas Certificate (C&G 2079 or CITB J11).
- 18th Edition Accreditation also preferred.
