The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Birmingham. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, with a competitive hourly rate of £30 – £35 p/h. The role is initially for a duration is ongoing, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive respiratory and sleep studies.
- Analyze and interpret test results.
- Provide accurate and timely reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory and sleep disorders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential:
- Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
- Band 6 or 7 with reporting experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the NHS.
- Desirable:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
