Female Waking Night Support Worker

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour / £26,436.80 annually (Based on 40 hours per week)

Working hours: Nights, up to 40 hours per week

Service: Jameson’s Supported Living – Foots Farm Lane

We are currently recruiting for support workers to join our team in a brand new service! Foots Farm Lane is due to open in June 2026 and is based in Clacton on Sea – an exciting opportunity to be part of the journey.

About the Service

Jameson’s Supported Living (part of National Care Group) supports individuals (18+) with complex and enduring mental health needs in & around Colchester.

Foots Farm Lane is based in Clacton‑On‑Sea and includes two bungalows, providing spacious shared supported living accommodation for up to 5 people. The role seeks females to join the night team due to the people we will be supporting at this time.

Role Overview

You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is sometimes challenging but rewarding.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
  • Help plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
  • Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
  • Help plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
  • Make a positive impact on someone’s life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
