We’re looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join a collaborative Technology Security team responsible for protecting critical business systems, sensitive data and the wider security posture of a large organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical security knowledge with governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement, while helping to build a strong culture of security across the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the development and continuous improvement of information security policies, standards and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance on information security, governance and compliance across the organisation.
- Identify security risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, helping to strengthen overall cyber resilience.
- Investigate and resolve security-related issues, working closely with internal technology teams and stakeholders.
- Review new and existing systems and business processes to ensure security is embedded from the outset.
- Promote security awareness, digital wellbeing and best practice throughout the organisation.
- Help ensure compliance with information security standards and relevant legislation.
What we’re looking for
- Information Security within a medium or large organisation
- ISO 27001, NIST or similar security frameworks
- GDPR, Data Protection legislation and security governance
- Security tools, risk assessments and vulnerability management
- Investigating and resolving security incidents or technical security issues
- Producing clear documentation, policies and recommendations
- Managing multiple priorities and delivering to deadlines
