Site Safety Officer

Job Overview

Fixed‑term secondment until 31/12/2028, 35 hours per week. The role is part of the Hywel Dda University Health Board’s hospital services and requires agreement from a current manager if you are an employee applying for secondment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular fire checks throughout the shift, addressing or escalating any issues as they arise.
• Perform site security checks, ensuring the building is properly secured and remains so overnight.
• Carry out routine portering duties to maintain a high standard of service throughout the hospital.

Requirements

• A valid driving licence to operate Health Board vehicles.
• Eligibility to work in the UK or appropriate visa sponsorship.
• Availability for night shifts on a 4 nights in 7 rota basis.
