Facilities Technician (Patient Environment) – Cleaners and Housekeepers

Work Patterns – Post Types

  • Post Type One: 12:00 – 18:30
  • Post Type Two: 12:30 – 19:00
  • Post Type Three: 13:00 – 19:30
  • Post Type Four: 15:00 – 19:00
  • Post Type Five: 14:30 – 18:30
  • Post Type Six: 16:00 – 19:00
  • Post Type Seven: 17:00 – 20:00
  • Post Type Eight: 07:30 – 14:00

Job responsibilities

  • Clean all allocated areas to required standards using approved and trained techniques.
  • Support delivery of the patient meal service.
  • Replenish consumable items within the area of allocation.
  • Remove waste materials and dispose of them in the correct waste disposal streams.
  • Operate cleaning equipment (regen oven, vacuum, floor cleaning equipment) as trained.
  • Record all information required as part of the completion of duties.
  • Attend required training sessions to perform allocated duties.
  • Prioritise tasks and demonstrate infection prevention practices.
  • Maintain a flexible and reliable approach to work, cooperating with team members and acting independently when needed.
