Role Description
This full-time, on-site Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse role is based in London within one of Envisage Dental’s high-quality clinics. The dental nurse will support clinicians during dental and orthodontic procedures, including chairside assistance, preparation of treatment rooms, and patient care before, during, and after appointments. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, organizing instruments and materials, and ensuring compliance with infection control and decontamination protocols. The role also involves communicating clearly with patients, supporting their comfort and understanding of treatments, and working collaboratively with the wider practice team. Trainee dental nurses will receive guidance and supervision to develop their skills and progress toward full qualification.
Qualifications
- Clinical support skills in Dentistry and Dental Care relevant to chairside assistance and patient care.
- Knowledge of Infection Control and Decontamination procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Foundational or advanced understanding of Orthodontics for supporting orthodontic treatments.
- GDC registration as a Qualified Dental Nurse or active enrollment in an accredited dental nurse training program (for trainees).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused and professional approach.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols, work accurately under supervision or independently, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is beneficial but not essential for trainee applicants.
