Job Description:

Equans is looking for a M&E Technician to join our team at University of West London. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Maintain and repair HVAC heating and water systems including BMS interfaces
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and participate in water hygiene tasks
  • Keep accurate maintenance and compliance records
  • Provide excellent service to university staff students and visitors
  • Collaborate with site teams and support subcontractors
  • Participate in on call rota as required

Who are you?

  • Recognised mechanical qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in building services or facilities management
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical plant and health and safety regulations
  • Effective fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Well organised and flexible
