We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Bank Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities team at Brighton General Hospital and surrounding health clinics.
This flexible (bank) role offers varied hours to meet service needs. Shifts will be scheduled between 07:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday, covering multiple sites.
Base locations include:
- Brighton General Hospital
- Moulsecoomb Health Centre
- 177 Preston Road
As this is a bank position, there are no guaranteed hours and shifts will be offered based on service requirements.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Previous experience, particularly in a healthcare setting, would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

- Wear correct and clean uniform whilst on duty.
- Attend departmental meetings as appropriate.
- Participate in the Trust’s appraisal system, review and personal development process on an annual basis.
- Undertake training as necessary in line with the development planning process.
- Achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales.
- Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in which they work.
Qualifications
- NVQ or equivalent in Catering or Cleaning
- Basic Health & Safety certificate

- Previous experience in catering/cleaning services
