Yeo Valley is an independent British company producing highest quality yoghurts, desserts and ice‑cream for the Yeo brand and many UK retailers.

Location: HO Blagdon, Somerset (responsible for 4 sites)

Salary: up to £40k + benefits.

Yeo Valley is recruiting a Compliance Technologist for its Technical team. The role supports site compliance with food retailer Codes of Practice and drives the business to exceed retail and industry standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment; dairy experience an advantage.
• Higher education qualification in Food Science / Technology – hands‑on experience with proven results also considered.
• Strong communication and people skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Knowledge of retail standards.

Responsibilities

• Business partnering and collaboratively improving the sites to embed a food safety culture at all levels.
• Raising site compliance levels by supporting teams to deliver best practice.
• Auditing and coaching on Food Safety, Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting sites with root cause analysis.
