SEN Support Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Montagu Academy are looking to appoint a SEN Support Assistant to join our academy as soon as possible on a temporary basis for one year to cover maternity leave.

Your new role

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan.

• Provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning.
• Maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.

Salary: Grade C Points 4 to 6 (£25,185 to £25,989 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro‑rate. The minimum actual pro‑rate salary per annum for this job starts at £18,335.29.

Hours: 32 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks)
