Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hemel Hempstead for a Junior Designer & Estimator. The role involves preparing detailed designs, creating accurate estimates for materials and labor, and collaborating with the production and project management teams. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality projects, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong design skills, including the ability to create technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with design software such as Compusoft Winner, or similar tools
- Knowledge of estimation techniques, cost calculations, and material requirements
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to strict deadlines
- Prior experience in joinery or interior manufacturing is advantageous
