Responsibilities
You are needed to make a real difference to sixth‑form students at a key stage in their education and future lives. You will help drive high standards of behaviour, attendance, punctuality and engagement across Key Stage 5. Working closely with students, parents, carers, tutors, senior leaders, the safeguarding team and external agencies, you will create a culture where students feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed.
You will be at the heart of our work to remove barriers to success. Using attendance, punctuality, behaviour and intervention data, you will spot concerns early, put the right support in place and work with students to develop the habits, confidence and resilience they need to thrive in sixth form and beyond.
You will support students as they plan their next steps, contributing to our UCAS and post‑18 progression work, helping students meet deadlines, shape strong applications and explore routes into university, apprenticeships, employment and other future pathways.
Safeguarding and inclusion sit at the centre of the role. You will act as the key point of contact for safeguarding concerns within Key Stage 5, respond swiftly and appropriately to emerging issues, support vulnerable learners and contribute to multi‑agency work where required.
We are looking for someone who can build professional relationships with young people while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations. You will be organised, resilient, solution‑focused, confident to challenge and support in equal measure and have the judgement to handle sensitive issues with care.
