Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Nursery

12‑month fixed‑term contract from 1st September 2026.

Salary: M1 £32,916 per annum.

As a partner academy within JTMAT, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a professional, passionate and experienced individual to take on the role of an ECT Nursery Teacher on a fixed‑term basis for 12 months from September 2026.

At Winshill Village, our Nursery provides a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, develop independence and build a lifelong love of learning. We pride ourselves on our child‑centred approach, strong relationships with families, and a curriculum that supports the whole child through high‑quality play‑based learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one of our Nursery rooms.
  • Take responsibility for overseeing the planning and organising of high‑quality provision, including resources.
  • Support colleagues and shape provision to ensure all children thrive and achieve their full potential.
  • Use dedicated time to support leadership aspects of the role.
