KS2 Teacher
Location: Clitheroe
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, part time
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Clitheroe that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where children are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The role is initially part‑time, with opportunities to increase to a full‑time position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school.
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary Education.
- Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Ability to reliably commute to Clitheroe.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience leading a curriculum subject area.
- Knowledge of current educational practices and assessment frameworks.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience working collaboratively within a wider school team.
