Role Overview
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. You will be responsible for transporting residents in disability‑adapted vehicles to appointments, social outings, and other activities. Safe and compassionate driving is a key part of delivering high‑quality care and support.
Responsibilities
- Transport residents in a safe, reliable and compassionate manner.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a fit‑for‑purpose state and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Assist residents with any special requirements during travel with the disability‑adapted vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with residents, care staff and external service providers to coordinate appointments and outings.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
- Experience driving disability‑adapted vehicles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in shift patterns, including evenings and nights.
