Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to children aged birth to 5 years in an early years nursery or creche.
- Ensure a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment for all children.
- Deliver quality care and educational learning opportunities tailored to individual needs.
- Offer occasional 1:1 support for children with additional needs.
- Communicate effectively with children and adults, maintaining a positive relationship with parents and staff.
- Support busy, flexible routines during nursery operating hours (Monday to Friday, 8am‑6pm).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Some experience working with children aged under 5 years.
- Confidence in communicating with children and adults.
- Good literacy skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in busy environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of children’s needs.
- Interest in working with children; early years qualifications not essential.
